What I didn't understand then... I do now.
I've been wanting to post something for a long time and could never find the words and anyone who knows me, knows I love words.
I stumbled across a post and this novel just kinda happened. 😳But it's kinda important.
This very rich and famous guy was interviewed by Jay Leno and was asked, "If you lost all your money and had to start all over, what would you do?".
His answer was to join a Network Marketing company and climb his way to the top. The whole crowd started booing, he turned and looked at them and said, "that's why you're sitting out there, and I'm sitting up here. Because I understand the POWER of residual income and I know that it's the biggest equal opportunity type of business out there. You can be the richest person or the poorest, know the most people or hardly know any, come from any type of background or religion. Every single person has the same chance at success. No one is better than anybody else. Anyone can pass up and make more money than the person above them. There's no limit or cap on the amount of money there is to be made. And that's why I would choose Network Marketing."
That rich and famous man was.... Donald Trump. You can love him or you can hate him, that man knows what he's talking about when it comes to finances.
But WHY did the crowd boo? It's because of the stigma, it's because they were un-educated in the meaning of residual income and network marketing.
I'll be the first to admit that I had the same stigma towards network marketing companies that almost everyone else starts out feeling. What I didn't understand though is WHY I felt that way or WHAT the stigma was about. Where did it come from? I know now, It came from the unknown. From truly not understanding how it worked.
I was never taught the first thing about network marketing or residual income. Were you?
I've worked my way up from a minimum wage position to a manager position in a couple years time... each raise getting me maybe $0.50 an hour more... up to the point where I was making $10 an hour. Which seemed like a lot at the time, but it doesn't anymore. Because I can sell 1 bundle in 3 minutes and make that now 😳.....
This time last year I didn't understand the first thing about residual income. I knew I'd heard the term before but I had NO clue what it meant. But now I do...
I'm thankful I had a friend who could explain it to me. Who could teach me and show me what was possible.
I never knew I would become so passionate about growing a business, creating a team, and helping other women succeed at their businesses the same way I was, the same way I am.
This year, I want to teach as many people about the possibility that is network marketing that I can. I want women to truly grasp the meaning of opportunity and what financial freedom can do for them, for their family.
No matter their circumstances. All they need is passion, a smart phone, and a team of women supporting them and they could literally do anything they put their mind too.
Seriously, this is not a cliche. This is your life, and your dreams can come true. But only if you are ready to put in the work, only then, will I help you get there.
If you are a hard-working person who likes a challenge, who likes to learn, who likes to work their way to the top, to be noticed, to make a difference in people's lives, then you should be part of a social selling company. Period.
The first step is jumping in. It's a learn as you go type business. It's a life changing opportunity that you can share with others. It's a job you can work from home with. It's being able to spend more time snuggling with your babies. It's being able to stop and smell the roses. It's building connections with old friends. It's building connections with new friends. It's a retirement plan you weren't planning for. It's a vacation in the tropics you didn't have the money to spend. It's your child’s college eductation. Heck, it's your college education. It's the american dream on a fast track.
And it's a confidence in yourself you never knew existed.
It is literally anything you want it to be and so. much. more.
The first step to getting somewhere is to decide that you are not going to remain where you are. And that is the most powerful decision you can make.
If you are one of those who have the stigma that most people do, then reach out.
Let me tell you why.
