Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking, and don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.

Baby stretches. Is there anything more sweet in the world than a sleepy baby stretch? Maybe a baby yawn would be the next closest thing. I used to love changing my daughter's diapers first thing every morning and waiting for that big ole belly to just grow with that first morning stretch. Knowing those days would go by much to fast and that once “big” belly will no longer think my raspberry-blowing-silliness was as funny as it was that day.

I love the innocence and purity of a sweet child. Their little eyes just shine with happiness and give you a sense of serenity that cannot be found anywhere else on the planet. Those sweet moments are irreplaceable. That special bond between mother and child that no one can experience but you and your baby. Above all things, I strive to capture those bonds you have and try my best to get those little personalities to shine through.

After I had my daughters, I wanted to figure out how to capture these memories and keep them forever. I longed for a day that I wouldn’t forget a single detail of their little beings. To remember the pure joy on my daughter’s face when I tickled her side. Or keep a memory of how short her hair was for the first few years of her life.

Pictures are the memories that we can bring back those emotions time and time again. A way to stop time for a moment and relive that feeling, that happiness, the sought after past.

When I was a child, I remember sorting through all the old 4x6 snapshots my mom kept of us when we were growing up. I remember sitting up with my mom as she cut those photos out and added them to a scrapbook for us to revisit that chapter in our life. I remember our first trip to Disney World simply by opening up that scrapbook and becoming 10 again.

Nothing is more beautiful than those old printed photos.

With my clients, I am on a mission to restore those old snapshots. Those old printed photos that get passed down from generation to generation. I believe that photography is so much more than just pushing a button on my camera. It is an expression of art and your photos should be printed as such.

Let’s capture those memories! Those bonds! And those sweet baby toes ;).

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me! I would love to get to know you and your family and create those lasting heirloom photos and albums that can be passed down from generation to generation!
